We have been super excited waiting for this stunning four bedroom house to come onto the sales market. Blyth’s Wharf is a collection of freehold homes on the river’s edge of Narrow Street, Limehouse benefitting from fantastic south facing views.
The homeowner lives overseas so has been renting out the property for a number of years. Keen to sell, he had asked the tenants to vacate to entice potential buyers with a chain free sale; because of this, the home felt bare and lifeless as the furniture had been removed.
From first stepping into the property, we knew that the terrace from the kitchen would be the main selling point. We introduced colourful potted plants and an outdoor dining set to create a beautiful riverside garden to pause the scrolling of as many buyers as possible and book their viewing. We also added a selection of lifestyle shots to aid the imagination of all viewers hoping to understand how this home would suit their current or aspirational life.
With the majority of buyers in our area working in Canary Wharf or The City time is massively important to them (they do a lot of filtering online to stop the wasting of this precious commodity). The strategy is designed to present all properties at their best and help as many buyers as possible imagine themselves living there; the devil is in the detail.
